Why not you?
Somebody in your industry is going to have a record year.
Somebody is going to double their revenue, hire a team that actually runs without them, take the trip they've been putting off for six years, and still be home for dinner.
It's going to happen. It happens every single year.
The only open question is who.
Jim Rohn used to ask a simple question that I've never been able to shake: why not you?
Somebody is going to get the results. Somebody is going to build the thing, close the deals, become the name everyone in the market knows.
Why not you?
Here's what I've noticed after recruiting over a thousand salespeople and building more than forty teams.
The people who win rarely have more talent. They don't have more hours. They usually don't even have more money to start with.
They just answered that question differently.
Most people hear "why not you?" and immediately start listing reasons.
Wrong market. Wrong timing. Too busy. Too small. Need to hire first. Need to fix the website first. Need to wait until things calm down.
Things never calm down. That's not a season, that's the job.
The winners hear the same question and treat it like an invitation. They assume the answer is "no reason at all," and they act like it.
And right now the gap between those two groups is wider than I've ever seen it.
Because the tools that used to require a full marketing department are sitting on your laptop. Content, follow up, lead qualification, the whole machine.
Someone in your vertical is going to use that to pull away from everyone else this year.
Why not you?
Not next year. Not when the pipeline is fuller. Not after the busy season.
Pick one thing this week that you've been telling yourself you'll get to.
The offer you haven't written. The follow up you haven't sent. The content you keep saying you'll start.
Do it before Friday.
Somebody is going to get the results. I'd just rather it be you.
