[Quick Lesson] Moving from our place on the beach
I'm moving from my place on the beach to the suburbs.
We have a baby on the way, and the environment needs to change with it.
So I'm dealing with realtors, and I got a live case study in what separates a great salesperson from an average one.
The average one asked me for my requirements. After I'd already sent the exact place I was asking about. “You have my requirements. I handed them to you with an example of something I want now”
The great one? She looked at what I sent, gave me three more places that fit on top of the one I asked about, and said let's go see them Tuesday back to back.
Do you see the difference?
The average salesperson unconsciously creates friction.
The great one treat what you gave them as a signal to act, removes the friction, and drives to the next step.
The crazy part about this experience, I already feel in my gut who is going to get me the outcome I’m looking for based on the initial interaction.
“Im busy running multiple businesses with a baby on the way and Im making a decision this week, I have zero time for amateurs.”
This what is going through the mind of a high intent lead.
So if you get ghosted or past over from a great lead, now you know why.
Desmond Dixon.
P.S - High Intent Leads are usually inquiring with multiple companies at once, which can be a good or bad thing depending on if you are the one that looks like the superstar and or the one that looks like the amateur
