The best leads on the planet are “High Intent” leads that are in the “buy box” but surprisingly I wouldn’t say they are the best leads to feed AI agents and here is why…
We are seeing “Mid Intent” being most profitable with “volume” lead flow (Cheap Inbound) which means the leads may or may not have intent but they are “interested” and may just need to be aware in order to move into the buy box.
How AI is Changing Marketing
AI agents allows you qualify and filter leads at scale on a continuous basis. When I built over 40 sales over the years the hardest thing to do is finding cost effective labor willing to do the boring and most difficult work which is dialing for dollars.
The turnover is constant and you always have to replace sales people while you scale.
The hardest part of scaling successfully is capcity… I would know I scaled million dollars sales team.
AI Agents are allowing unique marketing solutions to focus in on “volume” and letting the AI do the filtering which can counter intuitively drive your cost down because you are not trying to filter in the algorithm in the Ad platforms which charge a premium. (The more specific you get in the ad platform and content the more you pay per lead)
3 steps to feed your AI good leads…
Create great content with a great hook (Don’t be cheap, pay for good content)
Run direct response ads to cold traffic (No fancy funnels..)
Have 2 emails that give social proof and a call out of what problems you solve.
Sounds simple right?
Sure but so is eating healthy and going to the gym but here we are with obesity hitting all time highs every year. So whats the secret?
The secret is to develop great content to a wide audience and let the algorithm put the great content in front of “like minded” people. Thats why scripts are so important. After that let the AI filter and chase the leads why you and your sales team get overwhelmed with qualified calls.
